Many of you posted some wonderful photos of our wedding to Facebook recently....thank you! Being able to post pictures so quickly to share with family and friends has to be one of the greatest perks of the digital age. Laura has also shared some amazing pictures that she and Fred took. BRIDE TO BE PARTY...BEAUTIFUL NIGHT ON THE CANAL IN INDY

LIVE JAZZ AT THE LAKE

At a recent Sons of the American Legion event (Cigars Under the Stars) we got the chance to listen to the Matt Pivec Quartet and even won a CD of their music. Maybe it was the starry night, the martini's or just the upcoming wedding excitement in the air (or was that cigar smoke?) but we just couldn't imagine cocktail hour without these guys. Thankfully, they had an open slot on September 12th and will be performing for all of us this Saturday. So, get your requests in order and enjoy the treat of live music at the Lake.

WHAT SHALL I WEAR?

Jason and I have our wedding outfits all ready to go but what are YOU going to wear? If you would like to dress up for the wedding, please do so. But if you would also like to bring a change of clothes for later in the evening when it cools off you are welcome to do that, as well. We will be taking pictures throughout cocktail hour, the ceremony and dinner.

So what is Lakeside Chic? Ummmm, whatever you would like it to be! ;)

Some tips...

Gentlemen: ties are not required, casual yet classy is the ticket

Ladies: shoes with lower heals are encouraged, late summer fashion is the key

Kids: comfortable and easily cleaned is the way to go!

78 DEGREES, LIGHT BREEZE, NOT A CLOUD IN THE SKY

This is Jason's prediction for Saturday. Needless to say, we've been checking the weather every day for the last week to ensure sunny skies on our special day. If you can, send some prayers our way (to the Lake, actually) for a beautiful day, preferably 78 degrees, a slight breeze and not a cloud in the sky.

4 DAYS AND COUNTING!

Well, we didn't think the last two months would fly by so quickly but they really have and now we are in our last week of planning the wedding. Things are moving right along and we are so excited for Friday to get here so we can start putting it all together. Thanks for hanging in there with us, we can't wait to see you in a couple of days!
