What better reason to go to the zoo than to visit our Aunti Lori for her birthday (she works at the zoo and is usually our reason for a quick visit!)! We had a great time with the flamingos; one in particular enjoyed nibbling on our feet and Eliza's hair. We also watched the dolphin show from "underwater" and enjoyed watching the bear play with his toy. The Indianapolis Zoo is a great place to spend the day! Or just an hour or two.

ReplyDeleteWe love our zoo membership. We can go for an hour and not feel "guilty" for not being there all day! Did you go see the butterflies? That is one of our favorites!
We did see the butterflies a couple of weeks ago on one of those insanely hot days. Not a good idea! For some reason I thought it would be cool in there...NOPE! And yes, I love going for just an hour or so. I told Lori that some day her girlfriends are going to want to go spend the DAY at the zoo and Eliza will be like....eh, an hour is good enough for me!
